Bruce Goldsen is co-owner with his wife Sue, of Goldsen Media Strategies, a media consulting firm.
Bruce is a 34-year Rotarian and Past District Governor (2008-09) in District 6400, an international district including Detroit and Windsor, Ontario. He was appointed by past Rotary International President Jennifer Jones to chair the Rotary International Strategic Engagement Workgroup, and continues in that role for current R.I. President Stephanie Urchick. He also chairs the Rotarian Fellowship of PDGs & Friends and hosts its annual "Evening with the R.I. Presidents" which will be held next year on June 20th during the R.I. Convention in Calgary, Alberta.
Bruce is past chairman of the Rotary International Youth Exchange committee, 2017-2019. He chaired the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Rotary International Youth Exchange pre-conventions in Atlanta, Toronto and Hamburg and was vice-chair of the 2017 Presidential Peace Conference in Atlanta. Bruce was the 2013-14 chair of the multi-district Great Lakes Rotary PETS (presidents-elect training seminar) and chair of the 19-district Central States Rotary Youth Exchange 2011-2018 summer conferences. He is past president of the Adrian (Noon) and Morning Rotary Clubs and the past charter president of the Passport to Service club in District 6400. Bruce is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Newtown, Connecticut in District 7980.
Sue and Bruce are Major Donors, Paul Harris Society and Bequest Society members of The Rotary Foundation. They have traveled to Ghana, India and El Salvador working on Rotary service projects. Their son, David, is married to his childhood sweetheart Nikki, and they live and work in Los Angeles. They have a daughter, Avery, and son Jesse, who are a constant joy of their grandparents! Bruce and Sue reside in Florida and Connecticut.
